LANGUAGE ANALYSIS SYSTEMS PARTNERS WITH INFOGLIDE SOFTWARE TO PROVIDE ENHANCED SOLUTIONS FOR GOVERNMENT AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS
Partnership Creates Powerful Solution for Mission-Critical Applications In Government and Commercial Markets
HERNDON, VA; AUSTIN, Texas; April 9, 2002 - Language Analysis Systems, Inc. (LAS), the recognized world leader in precision software for mission-critical name matching and searching, today announced an agreement with Infoglide Software Corporation, the leading provider of fraud detection and alias identification enterprise software solutions. Infoglide Software and LAS will offer customers a comprehensive solution for name and similarity search capability. The three-year agreement is effective immediately.
Infoglide Software and LAS will work together strategically on a number of government and commercial projects. Current projects include a number of Homeland Security, airline passenger, and insurance fraud applications.
Infoglide Software will integrate LAS's advanced name matching of cultural attributes and foreign names with Infoglide Software's patented similarity search technology. The ability to search on language and cultural definitions for names is mission-critical for security risk issues, fraud, and alias identification applications. The integration of these technologies will further enhance the ability to find similarities in name searches in large and disparate databases.
Having analyzed over 750 million names, including gender, title, first name, and surnames, LAS offers broad coverage for multiple languages and cultures including Arabic, Russian/Slavic, Chinese, Hispanic, Korean, Indonesian, and more. LAS is currently deployed in over 250 locations worldwide. This partnership will move Infoglide Software's similarity search technology and name search applications into meeting business applications for global markets such as insurance, financial services, airlines, and government departments such as INS and Customs.
