Infoglide Awarded 16th Patent
Infoglide's Numerous Patents Relevant for Data Matching and Master Data Management
(Austin, TX – July 31, 2008) – Infoglide was recently awarded a patent entitled "Remote Scoring and Aggregating Similarity Search Engine for Use with Relational Data." Infoglide provides identity resolution technology for government and commercial markets. Infoglide's software allows for data matching, auto classification, and data cleansing in applications for master data management (MDM), including customer data integration (CDI) and product information management (PIM). Infoglide has also filed 10 additional patents.
Ram Anantha, director of product management, and John Ripley, chief software architect, were the lead inventors on the company's 16th patent for its software. The new patent joins other key patents that include "Determining User Identity Fraud Using Similarity Search," "Classification of Documents," and "Similarity Search for Use with Relational Databases."
"These patents are critical," says Michael Shultz, president and CEO. "Just one patent alone covers just about any time anyone logs into a system as a new user with identity information. When someone first logs in to read an article, download a document, or purchase a product and their attributes are checked against a denied-user database, that's our patented similarity search and identity matching technique."
The patents give Infoglide legal rights over key processes and technologies underlying data matching, entity analytics, fuzzy search/fuzzy match, identity matching, data quality, identity resolution, master data management, customer data integration, product information management, and discovery of non-obvious relationships.
